The Bronx Center for Science & Mathematics’ grading policy incorporates all aspects of the learning experiences our students will have throughout their academic careers.  This system allows our staff to grade students in all classes with the same expectations of their academic performance, behavior, and efforts.  The breakdown is as follows:

70% of Grade 80% of Grade

Those classes that end in a Regents exam may, at the discretion of the department, use that exam as the final and use the score in the calculation for the final grade, but in no case shall the exam count for more than 30% of a student’s grade.

LOTE – Language other than English 

SS – Social Studies
