The Bronx Center for Science and Mathematics offers a variety of opportunities to travel abroad. These are some of the opportunities that you can take advantage of:

Global Glimpse: This will be the 6th year of our partnership. This organization provides the opportunity for ~15 BCSM scholars to travel to the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, or Nicaragua. Scholars engage in a full cultural immersion. Teachers from BCSM nominate students. — http://globalglimpse.org/

buildOn Trek: A life changing service opportunity. As you may know, each year students travel abroad to construct a school for a community in need. — https://www.buildon.org/corporate-partners/buildon-trek/

American Field Service (AFS): AFS provides an array of travel opportunities that are incredibly unique and all rooted in cultural exchange. You can travel to just about anywhere in the world. There are partial and full scholarships available, and you need to apply early in the year for these very competitive programs — https://www.afsusa.org/study-abroad/ and https://www.afsusa.org/study-abroad/scholarships/new-york
